The popular Maryland-based band Radio Caroline came to me to design the jacket for their new CD.  After listening to the music the concept became crystal clear.  Their brand of folksy, Americana music blended perfectly with a photo shoot I had done on a Kansas farm, and the warm, saturated images from the late-day thunderstorm raging over the wheat fields, and farm equipment, became the foundation of the package design.  The cover image was an endless field, stretching from the front cover to the back,.  The lyrics floated against a dark and stormy sky, and the gears of the combine mirrored the shape of the disc, which itself was designed to take on the look of an old 45 single.  It was an ode to days past, weathered but not forgotten.   .
